And the Parable of the Talents tells the story of a master who entrusts money to his servants to ensure that they are productive. Only Matthew and Luke include parables that have to do with money. Of the more than a dozen parables described in Matthew, only one, The Parable of. In my own search, I counted 13 parables in which money was used to teach a greater lesson (there were even parables that made a slight mention of money, although they didn't use money as the basis of the lesson).
